Talking to Irving, I suddenly start to remember all those days when all we did all summer long was ride on our longboards and not care about anything else in the world. We could get to so many places on such a small budget because we did not have to spend much on gasoline or any sort of car repair service.
Of course, times have definitely changed. I do not ride as much anymore. I can thank my job for that. It often takes me away from home and I am always travelling during the week. During weekends, I always have to find time for my two babies.
But when I bumped into Irving at the mall the other day, we got to talking about all the times that we shared when we were still a couple of innocent bums with little or no responsibility and also no worries. Times sure have changed for us.
